Posted: Wednesday, September 22, 2010 - 08:06 AM UTC
Hi Guys. A friend of mines is looking for some figures for his Seehund project. Do any of you know of any suitable figures in 1/35 scale? Plastic or resin doesn´t matter .... but must be available to purchase somewhere. All tips and ideas are welcome. Thanks a lot for your help.

U-models is sold by Blast and these things are pretty nice .They even have specific figures for German mini-subs as well as the S-Boot. Good Royal Navy and U.S. Navy figures as well

Having seen the U-Model figures in the flesh I wouldn't recommend them to me the anatomy is a bit toy like. If these are to be dockside figures I would look at the Nimix Figures Vlad shows and try to find equivalent.German U Boat crews used lots of different uniform Items including stocks of British battledress captured at Dunkirk.
Some of Resicast's relaxed british figures such as this guy and this guy from Friendship Models with a new head. I have this figure from Masterclub for when I finish my Land Wasser Schlepper- I'll change his straw shoes for barefeet though I think he'd look at home on the deck of the Seehund- the box art doesn't do him justice.
I know Wolf do a Panzer crewman wearing a heavy pullover I think Legend do as well.
If the setting was tropical then there lots of Afrika Korps figures that might work as sailors in tropical rig.
I just checked out the Seehundmodel- I'm putting it on my "Models to buy when I win the Lotto" list

Hi,
try out the ones from Royal Model. They have a Kriegsmarine Sea Man WWII with two different heads and other German ones refuelling a boat. I have them and they are great with high detail level. Also they have some US Sailor guys. Also CMK has some new Schnellboat crew Figure sets.Warriors have a U-Boat Commander Figure WA35108 and two other crew sets for
the Land-Wasser-Schlepper.
Hope it helps.
Greetings
