I'm wondering if someone either has, makes or knows where I can find some 1/35 scale wheels and tires for an M101 3/4 ton trailer. The Italeri kit isn't TOO bad with some scratch building, but the wheels in the kit aren't right for a 70's -80's version.

The TM calls for 16 x 6.5 wheels (w/5 bolt pattern and 5 holes) and 9 x 16 tires. I've just ordered the Perfect Scale 1/35 M561 Gamma Goat (which looks like it may need some work in the cab) and I want to attach a trailer.

Anybody have a line on some wheels? Everything I've found is either for 1/4 ton, 2 1/2 ton and larger or the wrong wheel hole pattern.

Tom,
look this http://www.minimanfactory.com/en/m101-3-4-ton-cargo-trailer-i18/
The quality is not to compare with Italeri ...even not with PS

Looks like this may be the answer! With a photo etch sheet and a moveable tailgate, that makes the cost of buying a whole new kit worth the time I'll save trying to scratch build all that myself.

So far the only work I've put into the Italeri kit is about 2 hours correcting the front support stand and building a hinge so it's moveable. I should be able to re-do that work on this kit.

I'll be putting in an order shortly!! Thanks!

I made it for our M915 GunTruck.
i even bought the Italeri,
i thought it will be a good base.
After a hour crying I started a new one.
The handy small piece will fit very good to the Goat.
Hope I can see Your complete rig once.

Gabor, I have a question for you. On your site, all the prices are inclusive of VAT. If you ship to the US, does VAT still apply?

Gino, no VAT for US orders. I placed the order for the kit and Gabor has removed it.

Gabor, I'll be posting pictures of the project as it progresses.
