The heavy leather coat should be black (or heavily distressed dk brown), coveralls could be blue or slight tan, equipment belts in red brown or black leather and caps in grey green or dark leather (for the Football type tanker helmet). I saw some examples of clothing from North Africa and the shade varied greatly so you'll have some variation.

Thanks Chris,
I guess he's using trousers and not a coverall, what colour should be those trousers?

Just had a look at my three Osprey books on the Italian Army. From what I can see those trousers are probably part of the overalls and the leather jacket is covering the upper section.
If so, then the trousers would be a slight bluish color.

He wears breeches made of cordellino gabardine material, with two black stripes down the sides flanking a central piping in branch colour. I'm at work at the moment; if I remember when I get home I'll check my references.

Thanks guys.
I agree with Tarok, but which colour is that? I've seen the new set of Miniart "Italian Tank crew"(35093). I think the fourth man is wearing this kind of trousers.
Thanks

The figure wears a black leather double-breasted coat with the Army's universal white metal star on the collar. The breeches at least are part of his continental uniform, being the cordellino grey gabardine breeches, which have 2 black stripes flanking the branch of service piping (Man-Jin Kim has shown this as red, the infantry colour. I'm not sure if this is correct for armoured personnel, having limited knowledge of Italian subjects). That said, I'm not sure how much the khaki linen tropical breeches differed in cut, and cannot say if it would be correct to paint the figure as wearing such. He appears to be wearing long canvas gaiters with the brown leather version of the hobnailed boot.
His equipment consists of the grey-green M1874/89 three-pocket leather bandolier with his 9mm Beretta M1934 pistol in its holster attached to the end.
Head gear consists of a black leather crash helmet with goggles. An alternative is offered in the way of the bustina.
I think that covers everything?
