Looking to do some early British Shermans but wanted to seek some advice on colors and paints.
Light Stone, Light mud and Desert Pink. I think Lifecolor has the Light Stone and Desert Pink, but I can't find the Light Mud, any suggestions? Doesn't have to be Lifecolor, prefer acrylics but enamel suggestions are welcome also.
Thanks,
Jimmy

If you toddle over to Missing Links in the Allied discussion group and do a search for Mark Starmer, you'll find, about a year ago or so, a series of posts from Mark regarding Tamiya mixes for pretty much all of the Brit camo colours. Alternately, you can go to the MAFVA site & look in "References" for the three part article on colours & schemes. There are colour mixes there for Humbrol paints. Also on Missing Links over the last couple years Mark has commented on the various White Ensign Brit camo colour paints. I'm not sure he endorses or comments on anyone else's paints, so the Lifecolour colours may not be accurate. No matter what is on the bottle...

Thanks for all the info and the link. I looked on the White Ensign Models website and they have all the colors in enamel, will probably try those as well as mix up some Tamiya.
Thanks again,
Jimmy
