Hi all

If this post is in the wrong forum I apologize.

I am thinking of offering for sale stained and varnished Diorama Bases. I am wondering how many people would be interested in a product like this. I've talked to a few local people (who don't have access to tool to make these bases them selves).

I'm interested in what sizes people would want and what you would be interested in paying.

Again, if this is inappropriate for this forum I apologize.

Thanks
Blake

Hi Blake,

Yes indeed pre-finished bases at a reasonable price would be great.

Round, square, rectangle, and kidney shapes are all good.

For sizes...8" x 11", 12" x 12", 8" x 5", 9" x 12", the list could go on and on.

As far as prices that would depend on you and what type of wood, the varnish, how many coats, the quality of the finish.

You should take a look at your local Michael's craft store for an idea of different possible base sizes and the inititial cost.
