Hi all,
This is the Emhar WW1 Whippet built OOB. It has spent about seven years on the bench (well, several benches, in two different countries actually).
Finally finished!!!
I didn't muddy it up too much as, well, I just don't like my vehicles too dirty. I would love to build another of these fascinating tanks with some kind of interior to it.
By the way, the red 'n white stripes are on the front of the tank.
Hope you like it, comments and points welcome.
And in WW1 colours:

Very nice Murdo. I just love that WWI armor. I have that kit in my stash so maybe one of these days I will get it built.
Looks cool.

Murdo, you did a very fine job on an old inbred mongrel DOG of a kit! I've also had this and the Mk IV on my bench, under my bench, and in the drawer for 5 years now! All of those seams that don't mate surrounded by rivets! Sanding, puttying, sanding again, and gluing on new rivets is exhausting work.
You deserve an award for finishing it! Great model!

Thanks very much chaps.
I think the worst part of this kit is the tracks. Apart from the tracks on the Emhar Mk4 Male (same type of plastic) I don't think I've ever come across anything so difficult to glue together. You can't see the 4" nails holding them together.
They remind me of the old Aifix (Polythene?) soldiers.
