alright, I'm watching this one. I started building the Namer ARV in 1/72 years ago but never completed it
i watched a scale plastic figure crawl along the edge . . . of an exacto blade . . . that's my dream , it's my nightmare . . . . . . . crawling , slithering . . . . . along the edge . . . . . . of an exacto . . . . . blade . . . . and surviving

Thanks: KoSprueOne, I have wanted this one in 1/35 for a long time now. I wanted to build it before Legend comes out with at kit.
Thanks: HeavyArty I have the sides and top built and I will post photo to morrow. I just hope I get all the detailed parts right.
Thanks: vonHengest: One thing I must point out I have to build three Remote MGs. One for this project and one for my Achzarit APC and the last RMG will be for my humvee project. So I hope I can keep you all interested in this build.

Shalom caveman.
As to the engine deck and grilles/louvers, check your mail box.
The two hinges on the front glacis should be half across the first engraved line.
They should "hinge" the plate, thus need to be half on each side of the line.

Only one thing with designation name issue.
The HAPC (and in future HIFV) is called Namer at it is not based on rebuilded tank hull but it is completely different new build hull but based on tank hull.
Namera is designation name for ARV.
Earlier the HAPC prototype (Merkava Mk.1 rebuilded hull) was called Namera and ARV was called Namer, but they swapped the names so acutall combat vehicle have more "combat friendly and agressive" name. ;-)

Namer= male Leopard
Namera (Nemera) = female Leopard
Namer also stands for Merkava APC
NAgmash MERkava (Nagmash = APC in Hebrew.
As for generations:
Namera = First APC proto based on Merkava Mk. 1 Hull.
Namer Shin-Kaf (GP) = Namer APC for Company's technical team
Namer Achzaka = Namer based on Mk. 3 existing hull =ARV
Namer APC (subject of this thread) = completely new hull. hybrid of Mk. 3 and Mk. 4 Merkava hulls, but newly produced.

Hay guys I just ran across an article, stating this: General Dynamics to develop Namer APC for IDF.
Move will increase the survivability of Israeli military forces; Israel in negotiations with several countries over Merkava sale.
So what do you all think of Israel to export the Merkava Armor? I'm going to start a stand alone post of this as well.
