Hi all
A new panther ausf. G for the collection. It's the Tamiya kit of the late Panther G with Eduard etch, Armorscale barrel and Dragon MagicTracks.

Very nice. Tell me please the serial number on the front glacis, what is it? Decals, painted? I'm just looking for those but can't find anything.

The recent Tamiya JagdTiger kit has, I believe 3, of those serial numbers in the kit.

Lovely Panther.
Very realistic restrained chipping and weathering.
Thanks for posting.

Hi Pawel
They're from Archer. They come with some of their Panther mix sets + a set of various tuped stuff.(sorry, I don't remember their numbers!)

Jacob,
Super job! That 2nd photo did it for me. From that angle you've captured the look of a stalking hunter on the go! Looks so realistic. Are you sure you didn't just colorize a black and white photo?
Thanks for posting and sharing.

Jacob,
SUPERB!
The painting and weathering are very well done. I really like the damaged metal parts.
Are the tracks supposed to be running in opposite directions (reversed)?

Hi Jacob,
Excellent work! I would be interested to know what paint medium you used.

Craig: I started by painting the tracks dark brown, "Track color" from Humbrol, then washed with burnt umber and black oils. When dry, I used different earth and rusty pastels, and then finished off with a touch of polished steel.
Chris: I used Tamiya paints for the main colors, and Humbrol for things like the tracks, tools, etc.
