16th October, London MAFVA Annual Open Competitions and Show, St Mary's Church Hall, Edith Road, West Kensington, London, W14 9BA.
This is the annual show of the London branch guys which involves a grouping of the best models in the competition, a selection of traders and displays by some MAFVA groups. It also boasts the cheapest bacon butties in London!
There will also be an HQ stand there with all the available back issues plus the special offer volumes (that's 6 issues) being sold off for the incredibly low price of £3.00.
Not only do you get the chance to see some superb models, browse through the latest kits and books, but you have the opportunity to chat with fellow enthusiasts in a friendly atmosphere over a cup of tea.
Being in central London parking is an issue, but the tube station is very close and I am told that you can get some very good offers with advance tickets on the train services.
