Just finished construction. Had to take pictures with all brass, metal and rubber parts shining bright!
Priming and painting later today, will post more then.

thanks for your comments guys!
Stan - the kit was seriously fun to build, no unnecessary contortions needed to get parts to fit (except for those damn little chains!!!), very little cleanup needed, instructions clear and precise, photo etch OK. I'd say it was just as nice to build as my DRAGON - PaK 43/3 L71 mit Behelfslafette. However, since it was IMHO more detailed and certainly much more of a "multimedia kit" (5-6 different materials?) I'd have to go with this kit for sheer ease of build and the way all these different materials come together so nicely. My esteem of AFV Club has increased even more and I look forward to the rest of the guns and halftracks from this manufacturer waiting in my stash...
Darren - that's the way it was in the kit..... Different batch of plastic used during production probably. No difference in feel, just the color.

Hi Trifon
Looks really nice! Have you decided on what color it's gonna be yet? I agree with you, that these AFV Club guns are great. I build the PaK 43 years ago, and it was an easy job. Looking forward to se this mighty 88 in color.

Looks fantastic. Nice work. Looking forward to seeing the paint go on but always love to see a pre-paint shot with loads of brass showing!

Looking great! I have my DML 37 next in line but your build has tempted to find one of these AFV kits. I have their Flakveirling which looks fantastic and am about to start their 251/17 which also looks beautifully moulded and thought out. These guys are good.
