Ok guys after talking it over with friends here (at my home) I have desided that my next Mk.III will not only be built with the newer turret armor, but with a heavy mine roller.
In this first photo you will notice that the Merkava closest has the newer smooth looks armor that that of the first Mk.IIID in the back ground.

Well the one in the background I have built, so now for my next Mk.IIID build I will build the one in the four-ground., but this time no tow horns. This time I will scrath build the heavy Mine Roller. (seen in this photo).

The one thing that I don't know is, if I use my LIC equipment or parts that come in my Legend kit would It look right on a time with a mine roller?

So what do you all think of my next projects'?

On and one more thing when I plan on building my Merkava Mk IV. I'll be building it also with a mine roller. I will also be adding the Trophy System (APS) - Active Protection System. APS-Wiki-Link

I think these two new MBT project will be a bit more interesting than that plane jan stiff of my past!

Cpn Cave

The "heavy" mine roller looks like the one Academy released in their IDF M-60-A1 Blazer KMT4 Mine Roller Kit. Not sure about the mounting hardware but at lwast you might be able to use the frame and rollers from this kit.

Yep (corsutton) your right the Academy kit's have the mine roller equipment.
Academy IDF M60A1 w/Mine Roller:

Academy IDF Merkava Mk II w/Mine Roller:

Trumpeter IDF M60A1 with Mine roller:

Now the wheels are all the same from the older looking eqipment,:

To the new looking equipment, seen here on a Puma. now I have more photos of the mounting hardwear for the Mk III. So all I need are the wheel as I realy don't want to scratchbuild them.....

Now I plan on getting that M60 kit for the roller wheel.

Oh I for got that I was to put up, my kits' and items' that I plan on using. I plan on mixing the Legend kit's chassis and hull with some scratchbuilt turret armor much like my first build.

(Note the first Merkava project sitting there)
