Over the last 3 or 4 days the site has become almost impossibly slow to load, both the main page and each individual page I go into during my visit. Before this it was fine using my dial up connection. Other sites I visit like Msn armarama chat load normally and fast.

Also the Gallery seems off line as I can not get into it.

I've noticed a slowdown over the last couple of days. I was wondering if it's the new Sobig-F virus, which is supposed to be slowing down the entire Internet...

I've down a real clean-out of my system tonight and checked my virus killer is up to date, so we'll see how things go...

I am seeing sites like CNN and Google loading very slowly as well so I think it's just an ISP general slowdown. Some ISP's may be affected more than others.

I actually disabled the gallery intentionally the other day as I thought that was causing the slowdown. Now I realize it's the spread of the SoBig.F virus. Just as well as the old gallery will soon be replaced by the new PhotoPost system and I don't intend to run both (too much of a performance drain). I will likely give users access to their old images to upload to their new member folders at some point soon.

It has slowed down for me too. Lots of sites I visit seem to be affected in one way or another.

Yes, many sites are slow. I think the Sobig virus is really creating havoc. Even my T1 connection at work crawls from time to time.

when u frist come to the site its slow loading but thats it....
i have high speed cable,
so that might help.
bu tonce the page loads its ok.

I've noticed that the site main page has slowed right down from here benn like that for a bit now

I have also noticed the main page loading slowly over the last few days. I have a cable connection and have not noticed other sites with this slowdown.
