I am looking into buying an airbrush booth. Before moving, I've always painted in a box in the comfort of my garage but I am realizing that this will not be an option with the Alaskan winters. Anyone have suggestions or feedback on whose airbrush booth is the best?
thanks

Especially if you're going to be airbrushing in the house, check out my review of this one: Portable Spray Booth . Also all the positive comments from those who have bought one. It's one of the best tool purchases I have ever made. I love mine.

How about making one?
I built mine from stuff I bought at Wal Mart, Home Depot and the grocery store. Cost me less than $100 and it works just fine.

Panzerdoc: Ibuilt my own most of the ones on market I have found to be to small I built mine out of 1x2 furring strips, oreentedstrand board then covered the outside with mapel paneling. Cut a hole in back for exchust fan, used dryer vent tube to ouside fiberglass furnace filter to catch over spray. Total cost about $50. HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Thanks all for the replies. After nearly suffocating myself on Mr. Surfacer this weekend, I will likely be making my decision and purchase later this week. Thanks again

Panzerdoc. Matthew is indeed right. I bought mine about 2 months ago and I can not imagine how I got along without it. Also I agree with his conclusion in his review. Space is a problem and this nifty booth is no bigger than a briefcase when stored.

I've also got the PSB and love it... being in a 1 bdrm apt..it saves on space... My only advise if you get the portable..is get a few extra filters as well. If you do alot of airbrushing an such... I went through the original that came with it in about a month... so I resupplied the filters... much to the lil wifes egging Me on... LOL
but all in all if ya go with the PSB.. you'll love it I'm sure and its pretty quite... least in MHO it is.

I am in the market for a spray booth and saw your review of the portable spray booth. I know the review was a year ago but i now find the price is $199.00.

The price went up about 6 months after it was introduced. Unfortunate, but I would gladly pay $200 for this booth.
This booth is not sold exclusively by Modelexpo. Megahobby has it for $150.10. I have also seen it cheaper in ebay stores. Shop around.
