From the pictures the track looks commendably thin in section, much like the real thing.
Whilst the after-market ones such as Fruil, ModelKasten and WW2 Productions offered superior detail and realistic sag potential over the ones in the old Italer kits they were in my opinion "in scale", much too thick. I guess due to restraints of manufacturer. These look pretty good from what I can see.
I also note this is going to have engine detail....excellent. Looking forward to seeing the cabbed transport versions appearing in the near future.
