None...I believe Sherman 4AY was the British designation for M4A3E8.....the Strat tanks in Korea were M4A3E8s.
Did you get that designation from Armoured Acorn?

A Sherman 4AY would be an M4A3 (4) with a 76 mm Gun (a) and HVSS (y)
THe british designated Shermans 1 (M4), II (M4A1), III (M4A2) IV (M4A3), V (M4A4)
The suffixes were:
a - 76mm gun
b - 105 mm gun
c - 17 pdr Gun
Y - HVSS
Given that it is a 76mm Armed M4A3 with HVSS not much difference at all. Just a different nameing convention. THe M4A3E8 was only the test designation (E8). In service it was M4A3 76mm HVSS.

I just bought on E-Bay the Tasca kit M4A3E8 and was hoping to do a Strathcona tank in Korea.
