I can't get part number 50-042 back into its little slot! Oh,BTW,there is no little slot in my AB to insert it in without hassle........this little #$@%^ hates me!

You put tab A into slot B. Then you wrap tab C around shaft D, put your left leg behind your head and hop up and down at the same time. The part in question will pop right in.

No that won't work... you've got tab C twisted 90 degrees out of alignment... :-)

Sorry to hear your having trouble with your Badger AB. I also had a problem with this part and what I did was to get the instructions that came with the brush this helped me replace this part. I was triyng to place it in backwards. If you need more help go to a AB web site and look for there exploded views for your model brush , this may also help.

Oh, THAT 50-042. I don't know what to tell you, Dave. I know better than to take that part out.
