Anyone build an Extratech V100 kit?

These appear to be out of production for awhile and were limited production when they were out. It the kit worth it? Best price I've seen is $45 US with prices running nearly double that. I've got an old 20mm wargaming piece that is about as rough and useless as they come. I was hoping someone had experience with the Extratech kit so I'd know whether to avoid or not. Yeah, I know there are 1/35 modern kits, but I'm scale challenged and try to to stick with Braille. It fits my space limitations and allows me to mix vehicles and aircraft in displays.

Kent, you can find a review with pictures at Small Scale AFV. Not a lot of parts and in certain ways a simple kit but some parts may be a bear to cut from their moulding blocks. IMHO, it's definitely too pricey for me.

Cheers,
Jan

I agree that it is probably too pricey for me too. But I really want a V100 and doubt it will ever be kitted in 1/72 for less. If only we had a way to shrink 1/35 kits down.

It does seem far better than the 20mm "kit" that I got years ago. Intended for wargaming it was badly warped, poorly detailed, and expensive itself. I could be wrong but I'm thinking it was US $15 about 20 years ago.
