Hi All
I have a question in which I need your opinion. I am about to start my research on my next project a 1/48" scale P-47-D Thunder bolt. I am thinking of using Alclad metal paints for the first time, but not sure which color to use. They have many aluminum colors such as, white, semi matt, dull, darkened, highly polished, as well as just plain old aluminum. any one have any experience using this stuff, and if so, what do you suggest?
Thanks all!!

tek2 - I can only assume you are going to want to vary the metal texture across the aircraft, so you're probably going to need more than one "color". Since this is your first time using Alclad I would suggest first you check out their website, they have good color samples to use as a guide in selecting the effect you want. Some texturing can be gained by buffng but some you'll want to create via color change, I think.
Tin_Can is in the middle of a project experimenting with the texture factor right now. He's going to be a good source of info.
