Anyone care to hazard a guess ? The bottom looks like an Sd.Kfz.234, but the turret I can’t pin down. It looks sort of like an Sd.Kfz.232 8 Rad turret but the mantlet seems wrong.

Its a Sdkfz 234/2 with a turret from a Luch. More than likely a one-off conversion. I think this picture was taken in April of 45(?) I have the book.

Cheers for that. I even went hunting for Pz.Kpfw.III photos as it looked similar to the PIII turret but never thought of the Luchs. Looks pretty self evident once you know that.
What's the book ? Sounds like it might be worth getting.
