Gentleman,
In reference to Hobby Boss 1/35 M26 Pershing (#82424). What is part G35 that comes OOB attatched in the center of part G9 Turret Bottom? An early hatch ring? There is already a part B5 Commander's Cupola.

Yes, that's exactly what it is, a split-hatch cupola. I think it's for the T-26E3, but I never realized this turret used this device. Toss it in the spares box, it'll fit a Sherman

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, Kevin it would seem that the ring takes a two peice hatch. The instruction sheet wasn't much help (unlike, say DML) spare parts are not shaded out. Now to figure out how to get a glass effect on the cupola view ports.

A few ways:
1. Simply paint gloss black. Don't use dark blue-I've seen it doen often and it never looks right.
2. Open them up, and fill with Krystal Kote, tinted slightly green.
3. Recast the piece in clear or slightly green resin, and paint everything else.

The third is a no BS solution, and yields the best results of any.
I've been doing it since the mid nineties.

Gary, as you appear to know more about this subject than us, and your hero isn't here, perhaps you could enlighten us instead of subjecting us to further display of your empty wit?

^^ err... I dunno what that's about. As for Gary, your vote of confidence in my knowledge of the M26 isn't actually that true. I happen to know tons about the T26E4 Super Pershing b/c I spent lots of time researching it -- and it's always been a popular subject amongst Allied builders. Thanks for remembering me though! I'm flattered.

As to the OP's original question, I'd love to chime in per Gary's request but I don't own any of the Hobby Boss Pershing kits. Good luck to you though. They seem to build up very nicely.

In my mind your the guy to ask! And I figured you'd have one already in your stash. Myself, I want to do at least one Korean war track, and maybe back date the other to 1945 era (mine are Dragon, but plan on buying the H.B. as well)

It's a left over part for another version and not the T 26E3 which Hobby Boss do not offer in their Line up. It is for the Super pershing Kit (Pilot# 1 Kit No 82426) which has a split cupola for the Loaders hatch. The T26E3 used the oval loaders hatch.
Cheers
