Aaarrgghhh
My wife and kids are driving me crazy
For my mountain diorama I have gotten a marble base, but frankly I am not to keen on that one, so I decided to get me a wooden one.
I received the wooden base today and I showed it to the wife and kids and they said that they likes the marble one better.
So I am starting a little pole here: which one do you like more:

i would vote for the wooden one, but maybe not in red.
eventually a little more neutral color like black.

Okay, let me buck the trend and say I like the marble one better. I think it will probably be more stable and sort of ties the whole thing together. A rock climbing diorama with a base that is actually a chunk of rock? What is not to love?

Right now I like marble base better. Perhaps if the wooden one was of a different color I would like it better.

probably the wood is more classical and better, but not red...natural wood is the best

I would go with the marble. That way people won't see the wooden base and make a jump to thinking the rock is made out of bark. Go rock all the way!! Although the wooden base Is nice too (don't want to go against family!)
