The 50th All-Japan Mokei ("Modeling") Hobby Show was recently held on October 14-17 at the Makuhari Messe convention complex in Chiba, Japan!
A major event in the Model calendar vendors from all over the world travel to Tokyo to take part, and topics cover all aspects of modelling. From cars, motorbikes, figures, through to military, naval, aircraft, and science fiction.
Dragon as usual had a strong presence this year and announced various upcoming new releases in both 1/35 and 1/72 scale.

The Type 2 and Peleliu Marines are welcomed releases...Type 2 was a real surprise! Nice to see more PTO subjects coming from Dragon --- now what we need is a good M4A3 PTO!
I wonder if Dragon will someday scale up their 72nd scale LVT(A)-1 to 35th? It would be awesome to see that they would do with the entire LVT series with the state of their modeling technology in 1/35th scale.

Looking forward to the 10/5. I hope those Marines hit the LHS beach soon, I have a Peleliu dio on hold just waiting for them.

Wow, a Pz.Bef.Wg.I from Dragon! I can't wait for that release, should be great seeing as it will undoubtedly be based on the 6259 chassis.
