Some of the the popular medelling paint ranges have a number of Drab paints (No not Olive Drab Again)
Olive Field Drab and Khaki Drab what would be painted in these.

Friend,
Obviously, each piece of armor has a historically accurate range of base colors or camo. However, I believe it is up to you to mix your paints to get the exact look you are after. If you choose to paint straight of the paint rack, your finish will look the same as others who choose to do the same. If you choose to subtly lighten or darken your colors or tint them a little bit your models will have a subtle difference and stand out from the others. You do have creative freedom!

Thanks for taking to time to type a reply to my question, sadly I don't think you answered my question though. Was that deliberate.
I know I can mix my own colours but that was not what I was asking as I suspect you know.
All I asked was what would be painted Olive Field Drab for example US Army Field Jackets and what would be painted with Khaki Drab for example Soft tops on Vehicles.
That was all

yo paul, reb here
what i use to decide is era of model and accompanying info[ usually from instruction sheet]. and i look at the box to see what fits, like your jeep top can be different colors depending on terrain and weather. not trying to be vague, but if its a jungle type model as compared to a desert type model. a good question, makes me rethink some of what i'm doing.
regards

You asked a vague question, he gave you a vague answer. GIGO.
Do you want to be led by the hand? If so, you need to extend it.
