Hi Gang,
really great news, will fit perfect in my Stryker with Black Dog Interior. All I need is two engines and a M7 FRS-H to do a engine change scene I pictured early this year.
Cheers

This looks like a great set. I'll have to put it on my Christmas list for sure.

I was wondering... would it be accurate to have Hobbyboss's AAVR-7A1 recovery vehicle pulling out, or putting back the engine in a Stryker undergoing some maintenance?
I just thought it would be a nice way to show off the engine and engine bay in the Stryker, and show the AAVR in action.

Hisham, I guess anything is possible, but this is highly unlikely. Even if Marines were working w/ an Army unit, the Army techs would be the ones who would handle a power pack change. I seem to recall the Hemtt Wrecker M984 doing a power pack change at the NTC.

In addition to the HEMTT wrecker handling the work, a forward repair system would handle it.

Well, I mentioned a few weeks ago in another thread that the upgraded generator was to handle increased power demands inside the vehicle. These powerpacks are being fitted by General Dynamics at their Stryker refit facility stateside. That's where my photos and measurements come from. (yeah, they don't go out on a limb producing one just because someone scratchbuilt it first)
At any rate, it will not disappoint.

What a lovely kit!
By the way, is there any chance that Legend also does the rest of the interior? I know there are two interiors already out there (BlackDog & D-Toys) but Legend's quality is always top-notch.
Cheers,
Johannes.
