This is my Mazz tank transporter from Trumpeter, its more or less a straight from the box build .
The tank is a skiff t80 with an eduard etch set to put a bit of detail on it ,im going to change it for a different vehicle, maybe a trumpeter BMP-3 as i hate the skif t80 .
The 3 color camo has been airbrushed freehand and came out really well considering i had never used an airbrush before this build .
Very enjoyable build this and only took about 2 months to complete it

Nice build, is there any more pics of the T-80?
I think that I have glued one piece of photo etch in the last 2 months, let alone a huge kit like this LOL.
cheers

Ah!! the advantage of celibacy
did take a look at your gallery, very nice models, specially the AZM engineers vehicle and the BMP-1 KSH; did you scratchbuilt the modifications?
Happy Modeling

Byron the BMP1 KSH was a modelpoint conversion on an old esci bmp1 kit with a etch kit
but the AZM was a skif mtlb kit with the excavator arm on the top from the sp designs kit the rest was scratch built as the sp resin kit was a load of bum fodder

Roy, what were your specific problems with the AZM conversion?

the azm was a full kit.that i purchased a few years ago.
unfortunately all the resin was full of air bubbles , the top and bottom hull sections didnt fit together.the rims on the wheels were all pitted with bits missing.the tork arms were under cast and deformed, the tracks had bits missing/broken off.the dozer blade was warped and had the corner missing off it ..very dissapointing ....
though i have to say, that i have a large collection of sp kits ,(all the mtlbu varients)that i have purchased over the last 18 months and they are very good.and the r330,sborka have built up superbly.

Ah, that explains it. Sergej has done some rework on the masters so the kit as it is now is quite a bit better. I get good reviews on it now anyhow.

Glad to hear the other kits are more enjoyable.
