Just got in the mail the Tamiya BT-7 tank kit . The kit good great and comes with a color photo sheet of the real one. Also great instruction books I don't see pin marks on the kit . But super small ones on the tracks. The kit is broken for future tanks like the finnish one or the russian one with 122 gun. Hope Tamiya will do more early russian armor. bye panzer3

thanks for sites/ Working on kit go together well / but the plastic is soft/so watch that one/details is great/the big plus iit is fun to buildand that's what is all about! bye panzer3

Russian BT with 122 mm gun? What is that?

2 main conversions would be:

1. BT-7A with new turret and 76.2mm gun (short barrel)

2. BT-42 Finnish conversion of BT-7 with new turret and 4.5 Inch British howitzer.

I think the BT-42 is what is being referred to.
