hi
I bought a lvt 4 water bufalo by Italeri, i would to know if this vehicles was used also in europe, because i know it was used vs japan...
it was used also in the overlord operation (normandy)?
In which company or army?

AFAIK, the LVT-4 (Buffalo IV) wasn't present at Overlord, but was used by both US and British forces post-D-Day, in river crossing ops in the Netherlands and Germany.

Allied and Axis Volume #3 has pics of them being offloaded from Dragon Wagen for use in the netherlands!!! Cool pics when I get home tonight I'll scan one or two for ya!!! STUG

with the italeri kit is possible also realize the italian and french post war version.
Someone know which are the differences between the English version and American ?

there was an article in military modelling about how to back date it to a british one I may be able to dig it out and scan you a copy if you like
