Israel will start exporting there Merkava Armor. What do you guys thingk about this move:-?

I can't imagine who the prospective customer would be.

I would put Colombia at high on any potential list. Depending on how the troubled Arjun program goes, India might be on that list too.

It won't have the same systems as the Merkava or the same armor package. I couldn't see the Columbians using it but the Chileans would for sure and they already have an exisiting relationship with the Israelis. The Merkava is a world class tank for sure and I personally think its unique with the rear door and space for mission specific roles.

The Colombians have an existing relationship with the Israelis too. That's where all their Galils, Tavors, and Kfirs have been coming from.
