I am at the point of painting the bogies on my tank and since I do not know enough re: armor. What did the bogies rubber really look like (color)?

Hello,When it comes to rubber like tires and the rubber on road wheels,I go with the dark gray.Doesn't look so stark.I mix tamiya German gray with a little black.

Depending on the tank, they mey not be rubber at all. For example, a common modeling erroir is on Sherman tanks. Their return rollers were steel. What are you building?

Robert,
I swear by Tamiya XF-63 German Grey for rubber (tires and bogie wheel rubber). When necessary a wash of NATO Black to add contrast. Darken slightly for newer or wet rubber and lighten for older.
Cheers,
Jan
