Hi all, first post on the Russo-Soviet Forum. I'm currently building an Italeri 1:72 Valentine II as a lend lease version used by Soviet units, for the Braille Battlefield Campaign. I was wondering if anyone could help with paint schemes for Valentines?
Where they just left in British service colour? or were some of them repainted in a soviet "green" shade?
I have found a number of good reference photos but they are all in Black and white, and aside from one vehicle that is whitewashed I'am obviously finding picking colours out quite difficult!

Yes, they were delivered in original British colors along with WD Nos.and other markings like fording height and shipping data, etc.... Idon't know if they lasted long enough for any other paint other than white wash.
