Hi all,
Does someone know (or better yet, has pictures/drawings) how the xenon searchlight (from the m48 tank) was mounted in the back of a ford mutt? I've seen this 'conversion' used in the Vietnam war and it might be a nice addition to a future diorama.

any help is appreciated

TIA
Mark

Mark,

If you can give me a couple of days to find them, I have just what you're looking for in one of my (35mm) photo albums of an M151A1 with the M48/60 style searchlight mounted. I took the photos at an MVCC rally a number of years ago. This was the first time that I had ever seen this combo, thought that it would be an interesting subject to do someday (haven't gotten to it yet), so I took a number of good photos of it.

Again, I'll need a few days to find them, to scan them in and upload, so be patient.

Welcome aboard too!

Gee Al... I thought that you had already built every single MUTT version ever produced. ?

Yep, I gotta do some photo searching... I'm usually quite organized.... I just gotta find where I organized them to.... Lots of (35mm) photo albums over the years, and the pics that I need to find must go back close to 20-25 years....

Be patient with me there guys....

kind regards
Mark
