hello guys !
I got myself the italeri M24, and I'm wondering if there are things I should improve !
I alredy got a new cannon and I don't wish to buy PE for this one. But I've got plasticard, metal foil... so there are things I can do myself.
So, what are your counsels ?

I just received the kit too and have been reading through the build article at Panzergruppe. Take a look through the article Penpen. Some good info.

Hi Chuck
Italeri has released a revised Chaffee (a few new parts to make a WW2 version). It has been out in Europe for a while, and there's no news yet on its arrival in NA. You can preorder it from various places.
I believe there has been some discussion of the 'new' kit on Missing Links, and better still, there is a review and pics on Terry Ashley's site:

I've got two PE sets for the M24, the first from Ordnance Models (kit n. A-032) and the second from On The Mark Models (kit n. TMP-3515). I've got no clue if they're still available, but both of them are very basic an are mainly made of fenders supports replacements, that are quite easy to be scratchbuilt using copper/brass/aluminium/soda can/etc. foil. I got them for free I don't even remember where or when, but I don't think both of them deserve their cost. If I had to choose what to to buy to enhance the kit, I'll go for a new gun barrel and/or a new .50.
(the upper one id the Ordnance PE set the lower one is from On the mark)
Ciao

Thanks Andy.
I read the article and now need to get a preorder done. Now all I need is a Sheradin and a Duster and I could be happy....form a few days at least.

Thanks for the info guys !
This is going to be a nice and easy build !
And I even have a nice dio idea for it...
I bought the newly released kit when it came out at Blast models, something like three weeks ago... The great news also is that it's so cheap !!!!!
