I thought these photos were interesting. I have a bunch of my own photos I took of a refit operation, and I will someday do a diorama w/ them, but these are a bit different. The MEV hull has pretty much all of the suspension removed. Something for those who have collected a few kits and have parts left over - a cool refit diorama.

Funny you should post this. Legend Productions plans a maintenance set, with workstands, toolchests, etc, based on photos from the GD Stryker refit facility. It may include exhaust fans and hoses, and perhaps the rigid sided tarp for the removed engine on its stand. In fact, those photos also appear onthe latest incarnation of my Strker CD.

No plans currently, but that would indeed be cool. T-59 is next up. And don't forget the Maxx-Pro. It was delayed a bit to facilitate some of the other current offerings.

Robert, I suppose that means stuff like this? That would be cool. I can start concentrating on how I want to make a two or three walled building for the dio.

Bob,
Sorry I haven't answerd your PM yet, but yes, it would include items such as the sawhorses and the tall silver bottle jacks (since the sawhorses won't work for the ones with the Driver's armor.
The turret stand is a tad different, and is OD green.
I've been thinking of doing the facility myself, a la Shep Paine, with mirrors.
Something to think about for the retirement years...
To answer other questions-the Maxx Pro MAY go the styrene route rather than resin. No promises.
No idea why Trumpeter is dragging their heels on the MATV, but then, it'll be worth it.

Of course going the styrene route would be much more pocket-friendly
Sounds like Legends will be doing some very interesting things in the future. If I may just suggest figures of other nationalities... maybe even Iraqi army/police forces!
Great modelling times indeed

Hi Robert. Thanks for the reply.
The second photo I grabbed off the internet and was taken in Kuwait or Iraq recently at a refit facility. I would think the driver's armor kit would be on those vehicles, but maybe not. Also, the last time I was at Lewis they were refitting 3/2 with the armor kit and using the red sawhorses. Can you provide a photo or two of the way you are discussing, and the turret stand?
If my wife knew what we were talking about.... SAWHORSES ... oh dear. She'd have me locked up. The guy who was with me when I took my photos sure was ready to call the "authorities" when he saw me taking photos of sawhorses. He just smiled and took out this jack that comes with the Stryker. I think the men in white jackets were just around the corner as I pulled out of the parking lot.
