Was watching the HBO series "The Pacific" and noticed the Marine Corps softskins are painted more of a 'Hunter Green' that OD.
What color would be best to represent this? Also, I work with acrylics only - so whatever the paint it has to be waterbased.
Thanks -
Frank

Frank,
I wouldn't rely on Hollywood for color reference. I'd go with OD.

I use Vallejo Green Grey and Sunny Skin tone to give that faded uniform look
and add Chocolate Brown to the base for shadows and add more Sunny Skin
tone for highlights
I hope this helps
