On my last visit to the LHS I came away empty handed but my 8 year old Daughter Katri was clutching Miniart's East European Farmyard injection moulded kit in 1/72.
It went together fairly simply. She clipped the parts from the sprue and cleaned the edges with a sanding stick and glued them together under my supervision
The last pic isn't great but we plan to make a little farmyard dio with some trees too this weekend. She thinks maybe making models is better fun than playing Mario on the DS but she won't swap her DS she says

Hey Pat she has done a fine effort here! A Miniart kit is prolly as good a way as any to introduce them to scale modelling. The Voyager US Half track upgrade will be next

That is great. Nice to see younger ones picking up the hobby. Nice build up. Hope you both have fun with this one. More pic's as she goes along please. My daughter tried and gave up on Testors alien figure. Still have it 1/2 done hoping one day she'll try again.
