Hi,
Some time ago I began working on Tamiya's Challenger.
I added some details on turret and started to scratchbuild its rear bin.
Still there is a lot of work to do...

Nice work on the scratch building! Don't forget the seem on the gun barrel. Is the brass on the turret bin scratch as well or from a photo etch set? It really looks good!

It's scratch. The bin is made of Evergreen's profiles and sheets, copper and brass foils, copper and brass wires and a small piece of Aber's PE mesh.
Process goes slowly. I added some details to the basket:

Really nice scratch work there. Nice looking welds too. I iwll be following this one since I too started this kit some time ago and it has been on the back burner for a while;e now. Want to see your progress.

Maybe I've been missing some detail pictures but what is the inspiration for all the work by the pivot for the driver's hatch?
