Hello every-one,
just finished painting this Hobby-boss kit and before I add a ton of stowage and completely cover it in dust I was wondering If any body had any reference photo's of this type I could use.

Thats obviously the inside , Tamiya paints , very little weathering.
The out-side......

Going to get the real model set for it when I find one . As I said earlier I will finish te weathering in line with the stowage.
Thanks for looking,
John.

No photos remain but I have plenty of memories. There will be quite a bit of rust all over the vehicle. Remember this is amphibious, and they didn't get hosed off very frequently in peace time, much less when deployed.

I left long before the EAAK armor, but I've seen some gators recently. The corrosion seems to form rather quickly on and around the EAAK, and the mounting points. Wear and tear on the driveline was severe in the desert climes. The rubber on the roadwheels is frequently "gone" LOL.

your armor seems to have lined up very nicely unlike mine but i plan on adding some type of mud splatter or dirt to the treads wheels etc

Nice work, John, especially on the interior! Speaking of which did you have any trouble mating the hull roof to the sides?

I built mine per the instructions and have had an issue buttoning it all up neatly.

Keep up the great work --- can't wait to see it in a dio!

With Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B.
