Hey Pepe
Nice to see you posted these pics of this awesome model here on armorama.
Like I said before, the painting and rusting of the model is fantastic, as are the other models you built.
Cheers

Peter,
Welcome! Beautiful work. What artistry . . . all of the colors that have veiled and silenced this ferocious beast with its final death. You've captured a little history in the palm of your hands. Had you not mentioned the scale it could easily pass for a much larger build!
Thanks for sharing and posting your work here, good set of photos too! Hoping to see more.

Peter,
EXCELLENT Abrams! The finish is superb.
You should write up a build story with in progress photos, too.
I'm curious why you put roadwheels on one side but not the other? I know the road wheels are aluminum, but the hubs, bearings, and mounting plates are all steel.

Hi Guys!
I'm very glad that you like it.
Jeff, you're right! Why iI put roadwheels on one side? Because, it's not on the reference photo.
I think I coulden't constructed bearings at 1/72 scale.
I satrted a vallejo basic paint. I prepared the burned painting whit hairspray technique. The soot and the rust prepared airbrush, and after i used oils and pastell chalks.

Peter,
The more I look at your Abrams, the better I think it is. Actually, I think yours is the best burned out Abrams I've seen, in ANY scale! The base with the wet, oily looking sand looks very realistic, just as the damaged parts and melted aluminum on the Abrams.
Please post some in-progress images if you can, since I'm curious to what you used in your build (i.e.; "... a Dragon/Trumpeter hibrid.", any PE, other AM items).

Hi guys!
Thank you for your words of praise.
I am very glad that you like it.
The Trumpeter of the basic kit. But I must be opened the hatches, so I had to buy the Dragon kit also.
The turret, the hatches and the road wheels are dragon, Trumpeter of the others.
I don't used PE, only cupper wire for "turretbasket". Oh, and the box made of stirol(styrene).

This is simply amazing! Just looking at the photos, I would think it was 1/35 scale. Very nice Peter, you captured the real look of the vehicle. I wish I had half of your modeling skills.
