Okay so this is not a tank or AFV, but at 1:35 scale it obviously has some possibilities for armor modelers.

I built the regular version of this plane, and it was a pleasure. The only challenge was some fit issues with the "greenhouse glass" canopy. The kit includes extended wheel struts for flying and compacted ones for a plane on the ground.

I should have mentioned my kit came with two canopies (both looked identical). So either an error or an extra.

Hi Jim,
That's interesting as my kit also has two canopy sprues and I couldn't see any differences. I too thought it might have been a slipup but as your's has two also I best go back and have a closer look.
Cheers

Jim, In my sample I got two canopies too, both unpainted. Plus two sets of wings. But I didn't get instructions or decals.

Great review!
I have not built a plane in twenty years. The review push me over the edge!
Do you think they will make Fruil tracks for it? Just kidding everyone!

Nice review! Perfect timing, really, as I've returned to my aircraft 'roots' after a long hiatus. I'd prefer modern jets over WWII but this one is really a jewel! I may have to pick one up as I've always like the Storch.

Bob, I'm at work and don't have the kit around to measure, but I'd say the wing span is less than 18" with the length about 12".
I picked it up for about $30 a few years ago, likely as somebody's close-out. As this is just appearing, it will likely be for premium prices. The older kit is $38 from Luckymodel plus $9 shipping.

The build review for this kit has been posted over at Aeroscale. It's really very nice. I would love to see more aircraft in 1/35. The wife saw it built and thought it was pretty neat.
