I'm about to order some armour paints. I never used the Xtra range but they carry the Caunter scheme colours that I need.

They are only available in enamel (XtraColor) but the rest that I want are available in both enamel and acrylic.

Any opinions? Is either better than the other? XtraColor or Xtracrylix? Best finish, ease of use?

Cheers,

Nigel

Not used Xtracolour as I don't really spray enamels, but used the Xtracrylics without any problems. Come across similar to Vallejo model air to me, quite thin as is, but I thinned a bit more with water, and sprayed okay. Like them as they do a lot of Brit' colours.

But a bit more costly but you do get more paint per pot in Lifecolor range, they also do a specific british north africa set with the caunter colours. Along with Gunze they are possibly the best paints available IMHO at the moment
