Hi folks;

I'm going to start my foray into 1/72 scale with Academy's Dragon Wagon kit. Before I begin, are there any opinions out there of this kit? Has anybody built one and how did it turn out for you? I'm not an 'out of the box' kind of guy so I'd like some tweak lists too if there are some please. About the only thing I noticed right off was that the tires seems to be a little oddly shaped. Their profiles seems about too square but that's about all so far.

thanks;

Bob

I havn't built mine yet, but here is a review that was done for this kit. Has some good info about what to look out for etc.

I printed it out for when I build mine. Hope it helps.

Hi folks

Thanks to Jeff, Andrew and Daniel here who have been very helpful. I was also hoping to get some feedback from anyone who's built the kit and things to watch out for, likes and dislikes etc. Especially any tweaks that were identified for accuracy purposes.

cheers
Bob

Bob,

You really picked one mother of a kit for experiencing 1/72. IPMSUSA has a particularly good review of a build and you can find it HERE. Doing a general 'Net search will yield quite a few articles pertaining to the kit. The most troublesome aspect that most builders found was with the suspension and wheels. One fellow even went so far as to build a jig to aid in wheel alignment.

Good Luck!

Cheers,
Jan

There a lot of very large and very visible pin marks to be dealt with on the wagon section.
