Trumpeter have very kindly sent us their 2011/12 Catalogue. After 15 days or so of downloading it, we can draw the curtains on what promises to be very good news for Armor modelers - particularly for the Modern enthusiast. The full list can be seen here, and as usual, we''ll be the first to publish images of the ACTUAL models. Watch this space!

Even if they manage to get only half of these out it will be a bumper crop of kits to say the least.

Too many wanted kits coming out! Too much tease though. My bank account is not cooperating either.

I must say I'm very suprised to see those T-64 variants on that list. Also brilliant to see all this BTRs. However I'll take this release schedule with a pinch of salt. The UAE BMP3 has been on the cards for sometime and there are things on this list that I haven't even heard of Trumpy on planning.
Let's hope this stuff does come out though!

The First UAE BMP 3 is slated for a March 2011 North American release, they are going to start with the one with the ERA on it. I would suspect to see the non ERA kit in May.

They're slow over there on Aeroscale!
Just a clarification - the Type 63 rocket launcher is the trailer mounted MRL, the modern nebelwerfer, right? It is that PLA equipment designations can be somewhat confusing much like Japanese WW II designations, though come to think of it how many M3s did we have in the US Army in WW II.....

There are some more of them.
During my "sight-seeing-tour" here, I made a small list of the new items.
I can add some "modern" soviet artillery kits.
But there is no exact time/date for a release.
greetings...

Looking forward to the T-64 but for the life of me, I don't understand why Trumpeter (or anyone else) has no interest in a BMP-1.

It's NOT available for Download. It was provided to us directly from the company in a downloadable format. It'll doubtless be available to purchase at some point in the future.
