I started this kit tonight, and have not had any problems so far. As far as anyone saying the kit sucks, its not really that bad. Mine must be a newer version or something. Anyone ever built this one?

I helped my oldest son built the Pz IV H a long while ago (he's 18 now). Decent kit that went together well. Good engineering with old Tamiya kits (Academy one is a knock-off), but the accuracy issue is what irks most modern model builders. Tamiya designed the kit around a motorized gearbox and battery compartment. Compromised accuracy for play.
This kit has been surpassed by even the old Italeri Pz IV as well as the DML ones and new Tamiya kit. But it is still a nice kit to build and has a good price.

Chip----yup I've built it and didn't think it was all so bad. Its a quick build, and for about $12 or so, I can't complain.
Pic attached---and good luck on yours!

Carl, I got these openings on the bottom of her, like a round hole and then a rectangular hole. It will comein handyy for mounting on a base when I get around to it.
She is pretty easy to.
