Now that is a real nice model you've done there. I love it! I might look into getting that kit myself for my convoy.
Well done.

It came out very nice. That looks like a familiar model combo, hmm...
I scratch/converted mine in '03-'04 and recently (last summer) added the M48A3 w/out engine.
Yours looks good. Good job on it. Where did you get the driver figure?

Super job Andy! I got in a bidding war with someone on eBay for that M123... I lost
If I might offer a small bit of critisism, what are the tracks secured with?
Don't misconstrue, I think it is a superb model! Really built well with excellent weathering! Keep it up!

Excellent work, Andy.
The Mermite container is a nice touch. It brings back memories of green powdered eggs for breakfast while out in the field.

Hi thienan and gino
I really like your models and finishes on them.
I like scratch building Vietnam era and WW2 vehicles
You guys have made me want to go back and finish my scratch converion
of the same combination and the M26 soft skin.
I'm looking for detailed pictures of the M162 60 ton trailer that the M123 pulled in Vietnam for moving the LVTP5. I would like to scratch build this one as well.
Have a peek at mine any comments welcomed. http://community.webshots.com/user/scratchbuilder
Cheers,
Ralph

Hi Pascal: Thanks for the info, on the M123. I served in the US Army for 27 years. My 1st assigement was Rochefort, France with the 595th (HT) Trans Co. we had 12 M123 + M15A Trailers. Feb 1961 we moved to Germany, and on our way threw Nancy, France we picked up 6 M26 Tractor/Trailers. For three years we transported all the armor from the depot @ Nancy to Mannheim, GE for thansport up the Rhine, to be loaded on cargo ships for the USA, for melt down. Also we Transported the new arrival M60 Tanks from the port of Mannheim to unit's in Germany. After 27 years I retired as a Aviation Chief Warrant Officer (CWO4) and flew Helicopters/Fixed wing Aircraft, world wide.
