think I told you about my current project, M60 slick. Well I am almost done with it. What I need to know is how was the marking scheme for the USAREUR in the early 60's? I am planning to build the tank at a training area somewhere in Gmy @ that time. I have several options: a three digit pure white turret number, no turret number and a red three digit turret number. The first and last are documented in the "M60 in action" booklet.
Do you know if there were any two digit numbers as well?
Has there been any official scheme on that and when did this change and so on ... ?
I'd be greatfull for an help!
