Overall, I think the whitewash came out very good (certainly better than I could do). The only thing that sticks out to me is that it looks too "clean" where the whitewash has worn away and exposed the base color. It looks like fresh paint under the whitewash. That and the whitewash on the barrel just seems to end. Maybe add some more whitewash to the length of the barrel in small patches to help it blend better overall. Otherwise it looks like it'll end up being a really nice job.
