What are those? Were they actually on the RL Char b1 Bis tank, or were they simply Tamiya's addition for whatever reason?

I suspect that with so many similar parts they are a diemakers identification method for analysing faulty cavities if the mould becomes damaged, but I may be wrong...

You're probably right. I managed to find out that the numbers are indeed Tamiya's and don't belong on the track links of the actual tank.
