Hey
Anyone had any luck thinning model master acrylic paints using the Tamiya thinner?I don't have any other thinning agent except it and I figured its best to ask if someone tried it before.

Hi I did it it worked well. I also used the gunze thinner Mr levelling thinner. MM acrylic paints if they are not too old can be sprayed even without thinning them (I did it once or twice).
hope it helps

What ratio did you use?I used 1:1 and it was horrible..no success there.
I sprayed it straight out of the bottle and it came out really good, no splattering or anything..I read somewhere that MM acrylics are designed to be airbrushed straight from the bottle.

1:1 no, just a bit like 1/3, but like I said before I also spray directly out of the bottle.
