I have a recommendation for a superb reference book for all you armor modelers.
U.S.Military Tracked Vehicles by Fred W Crismon ( Crestline publishing) This book is great for finding pics of very obscure AFVs. Don't expect multiple pics of any subject, not enough for a scratch build. But if the US Military used, tested, evaluated, considered ANY tracked vehicle, then there is at least one good photo in this book with a breif evolution on each.

While you're at it - get the companion volume - US Military Wheeled Vehicles by Fred Crismon. Worth it's weight in gold.

I've been looking for that book for a year. I have the tracked book and like it a lot. Have you seen the wheeled volume for sale lately?
Crismon also has "Modern U.S. Military Vehicles" published by MBI, $21.95 US, paperback.
It is also a very good book.

I've got an extra copy of a book called "Tanks of the World". It is a good, handy reference to ID vehicles or get some basic info from (engine, armament, specs.). Only about a page to a page and a half per tank type. Bought a second copy at a Walden Books by mistake. Let me know if anyone's interested.

Chuck,

Here is a link to a web site called "The Military Vehicle Trust". The book is about half way down the page.

Hope this helps
