Site member Herchealer spotted a new HMMWV Ambulance variant at an Air Force base the other day. Here is a picture he sent to me:



Does anyone here know anything about this variant?

Looks like the production model of this. Globalsecurity.org has mention of the development of the ambulance shelter on the page on the M1152. A solicitation notice for these is also online here. Supposed to be a replacement for the M997 and M996 ambulances I believe. EDIT- The GS.org page says M997A2 and M1035A2 soft-top ambulances.
